Phillipa

Hi, I’m Phillipa, but you can call me Pip!

Having worked with brides in Northland for 11 years, and overseas for even longer, bridal hairstyling is far from a new venture for me. It’s something I genuinely love, and I feel incredibly lucky to do what I do.

Growing up, my mum was always experimenting with my hair — plaits, pigtails, clips and all sorts of different styles. I loved that feeling of having my hair done as a little girl. Now, I get to create that same feeling for my brides, helping them feel beautiful and confident on one of the most special days of their lives.

Happiness is addictive, and being in a room filled with love, laughter and excited energy on a wedding morning is an instant endorphin hit. There’s something so special about being part of those moments, sharing in the excitement and helping my brides feel comfortable before they walk down the aisle.

When I’m not behind the chair or styling bridal hair, you’ll usually find me spending time with my two little ones, Tyde and Daisy, enjoying a sunny day at the beach, growing vegetables in our garden or enjoying really good food with friends.
